Boulevard of Broken Dreams

I'm told by friends who subscribe to cable television that I've been popping up on E! Entertainment's new series, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," sharing some thoughts on author James Frey. I did the interview last November and had forgotten about it. From this excerpt, it looks like VH1's "Behind the Music" on steroids. This grew out of a profile I wrote of James Frey in 2003, when I worked for The New York Observer. Despite what E! says, however, I am neither a "book critic" nor an employee of The Observer.
